Annual General Meeting

The Stanthorpe RSL Sub Branch will hold its Annual General Meeting at Stanthorpe RSL Services Club at 2.00pm on Sunday 24th March 2024. 

The Sub Branch Board encourages all members to attend, as this is your chance to see how the association has gone over the last 12 months and have a say in the future of the association.

The following Board positions will become vacant at the beginning of the AGM. (Sub Branch President and Board Members/Directors).

Nomination Forms for the above positions will be available for collection from the Sub Branch Secretary, Paul Petter, on Tuesday or Friday between 10.00am and 12.00noon or from the front counter at the RSL Services Club. 

Completed Nomination Forms are to be lodged in the returns box located in the foyer of the RSL Services Club by 5pm on Sunday 3rd March 2024.

At the end of the Annual General Meeting all members are invited to stay and enjoy light refreshments with your Board Members.

5.30am - Dawn Service at the Memorial in Weeroona Park, Marsh Street

6.15am - Gun Fire Breakfast at the Stanthorpe RSL Services Club, Marsh Street (Gold Coin Donation)

10.30am - ANZAC Day Parade - Commencing from the Corner of Maryland and Folkestone Streets concluding at the Memorial in Weeroona Park, Marsh Street

11.00am - Civil Service and Wreath Laying at the Memorial in Weeroona Park, Marsh Street

Remembrance Day 2021 is scheduled to occur Thursday 11th November at Weeroona Park, Stanthorpe. The service will commence at 11.00am.

Details of the format and distinguished guests attending will be updated closer to the service.

Vietnam Veterans, and community members attended the Vietnam Veterans Day commemorative service at Weeroona Park Stanthorpe on August 18, 2021.

Vietnam Veterans Day coincides with the anniversary of the Battle of Lang Tan that occurred in South Vietnam on 18th August 1966.
