The Stanthorpe rsl sub Branch

The purpose of the Stanthorpe RSL Sub Branch is to honour the fallen, reach out to veteran's young and old, provide information, welfare and support, and to notify veteran's and their families of upcoming events.

We are an approved not for profit charity by virtue of a Charter to operate granted by RSL Queensland. Stanthorpe Sub Branch is also an incorporated entity by virtue of the Incorporations Act Qld.

Nature

We are predominantly concerned with the welfare and wellbeing of veterans and their families. Activities can include mutual support; breaking of social isolation; and assistance with pensions, entitlements and related matters.

We also carry out commemorative activities like ANZAC Day, Remembrance Day, Vietnam Veterans Day and other appropriate occasions and ceremonial activities within the community and schools.

We undertake some commercial activities and other fund raising to provide the resources to provide the capability to carry out these functions.
